Jennifer Granholm Proposes a Clean Energy Competition
The competition among states to “race to the top” of education seems to be going very well, so why aren’t we emulating that competition with clean energy? Jennifer Granholm, two time and beloved governer of Michigan, suggests we can even bypass congress in implementing this new competition! Just like the 48 states who signed up to compete in education, Granholm is trying to include all states of America. Ultimately, she hopes it will lead to unique contribution from every region and a cleaner, greener America. Hopefully the wealthy TEDsters attending TED2013 will be interested in making the initial investment so we don’t have to wait for congress.
